According to the Chinese lunar calendar, 2018 is the Year of the Dog starting from Feb. 16, 2018 (Chinese New Year) and lasting to Feb. 4, 2019. Dog is man’s best friend who is loyal to human and obey its master. The Chinese regard it as an auspicious animal. If a dog happens to wonder to a house, it symbolizes the coming of fortune.
